Brownies

These Brownies are delicious and make quite a few. You can leave the walnuts out if you want.

Brownies

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts

In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Melt the butter in medium sized saucepan. When the butter is thoroughly melted remove from heat. Blend in the cocoa. Add in the sugar, eggs and vanilla mixing well. Pour in the dry ingredients and nuts and mix thoroughly.

Pour the batter into a greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350F for 30 or 35 minutes. Let cool when done.
